Hops Test Kitchen and Raw Bar in Inman Square is the sister restaurant to Brookline's beloved Hops N Scotch, which established itself in Coolidge Corner in 2012. The menu of modern American cuisine with a focus on approachable bar food fit the area and took off from the first service and a location across the river followed in the summer 2015.

A different clientele called for a concept tweak or two. Hops Test Kitchen is a scratch kitchen and raw bar. The kitchen focuses on perfecting common foods and reinterpreting them in a sophisticated and beautiful way. Relying on a mix of modern French and Italian cuisine and techniques, the culinary team takes pride in sourcing its ingredients locally, from produce to proteins to oysters.

The bar at Hops Test Kitchen is also a scratch style bar making its own bitters, shrubs, syrups and more all in house. They have forty beers on draft and over one hundred scotchs and whiskeys. The bar takes pride in sourcing the hard-to-finds and non-existents for its taps.
