Doretta Taverna

Pioneering James Beard award-winning chef Michael Schlow (the man behind beloved restaurants like Radius, Tico, Via Matta, Alta Strada and Great Bay, among others) turns his culinary attentions to Greek fare at Doretta Taverna and Raw Bar.

The Park Square restaurant, which derives its name from the Greek word doro (meaning \"gift\"), puts the emphasis on fresh, locally sourced, seasonal cooking enhanced by good olive oil, a little lemon, and lots of fresh herbs. Full of simple and bold flavors, the menu is built for flexibility, and broken down into 5 sections: Raw Bar, Spreads (served with homemade flatbread), Small Plates, Entrees, and Sides, which allows guests to create their own culinary experience.

A collaboration with Andrea Morton (of AMorton Design) and Michael Nedeau (of Party By Design), the warm, inviting, and vibrant dining room features a unique 60-foot long, hand-painted wall from Adrienne Schlow, artist and wife to chef Schlow. Her show-stopping artwork adorns all of the walls at Doretta and perfectly marries art and design for a stunning interior. The space also features a center bar, show kitchen, display raw bar, and, when the season allows, a spacious patio for al fresco dining.
