Bianca brings the culinary perspective of James Beard Award-winning chef Tim Cushman and restaurateur Nancy Cushman, the husband-and-wife team behind o ya, Hojoko and the broader Umami Riot family of restaurants, to a relaxed neighborhood setting at The Street in Chestnut Hill. Here, the Cushmans pair the thoughtful cooking and warm hospitality for which they’re known with the easygoing spirit of an everyday gathering place.
The wood-fired grill is at the heart of the kitchen, lending depth and rustic character to a menu shaped by California-inspired freshness and seasonal ingredients. Bright salads, blistered pizzas, grilled meats and shareable plates strike a balance between familiar and refined, with plenty of choices for anything from a casual family meal to dinner with friends. Inspired by the breezy glamour of a Palm Springs getaway, Bianca’s airy dining room pairs white stucco walls and a skylight with a retro color palette and Art Deco-inspired accents.
